【摘要】:Thefreezingpointmeasuredbythistestmethod,whenusedinconjunctionwiththephysicalconstantsforthehydrocarbonslistedinTestMethodD1016,allowsthedeterminationofthepurityofthematerialundertest.Aknowledgeofthepurityofthesehydrocarbonsisoftenneededtohelpcontroltheirmanufactureandtodeterminetheirsuitabilityforuseasreagentchemicalsorforconversiontootherchemicalintermediatesorfinishedproducts.1.1Thistestmethodcoversaprocedurefortheprecisemeasurementofthefreezingpointsofhigh-purityhydrocarbons.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,see5.1,6.1and6.2.Note1Forthecalculationofthemolalpurityofessentiallypurecompoundsfrommeasuredfreezingpointsandforprocedurestobeusedforthesamplinganddeterminationofpurityofcertainspecificcompounds,seeTestMethodD1016.
